Floating a .cs file tab is slick. When you were resizing I was imagining snaping the windows in half with a res such as 1280x. Export settings option is nice too. This will make my transition to .NET easier. I like the new multi-monitor features in 2010. I really like the double clicking to maximize the screen. But, I'd like Visual Studio to take more cues from Eclipse. In particuler the use of Perspective buttons which quickly arranges the screen windows to fit the work you're doing at the moment.

Comment Posted by balapraveen

thanks, nice video..

Comment Posted by grettir

That's really cool feature. That may sound unbelievable, but dual monitors environment does improve developer's (and not only developer's) productivity. There is even some seemingly scientific study to confirm that done somewhere in New England. Having ability to spread code behind and mark up over two screens is good.

Thanks Joe for letting me know that.

Comment Posted by johnczimm

Can we float the Design and Source views of an ASPX page or are the a single page like they are in VS2008?

Comment Posted by ozgurbey

jumping another monitor was weird! should have called it "LSD Affect" ;)

Comment Posted by rami_nassar

I loved this great feature, its helpful for me :)

Comment Posted by abelanet

Thanks for the tips and Demo. Use [Windows key] + arrows. Left arrow snaps window to left half, right to right half, up maximize, and down normalize. Even better, it can take window to desired monitor.
