Color me unimpressed with this so called "tutorial". The PDF states that this is a good tutorial for beginners. However, the instructor flies through screens way too quickly and references files without giving information on where those files actually came from. All in all, it's completely useless to someone who hasn't done much programming in ASP.NET.

I'm with pblack777 and Potato on this one. I'm a little confused on a couple of things and now I'm stuck.

While I downloaded the source code, I assumed I could take the code from the site.css, files from the image folder, the catalog directory and the div tags from the site.master file.

pblack777 is right, it's not clear at all where the code for the site.master file is coming from. When I copy and paste the code from the source code into the site.master file I get the following error and now I'm stuck.

The specified named connection is either not found in the configuration, not intended to be used with the EntityClient provider, or not valid.

Where do I get that code from?

I had the same problem. I needed to comment out the <asp... code on the the list view and the entityDataSource and then it would run. It shows up in the design view but when it ran it would error out. I hope that helps.
