Its a FK to its parent. However when I hide it as you have shown in this video it seems that it is still translating the FK into the parent name and includes it on the edit screen for the child record. How do I stop this happening? Based on the other videos, these templates are all driven by Gridviews, which are the ASP.NET 2.0 update to the old school DataGrid (for what I understand), and it may be slightly confusing for a newcomer who hasn&#39;t taken note. So, if I understand correctly, Don&#39;t use DataGrid (deprecated), use Gridview.
