I hacked the MoveiesDBModel.Designer.vb code to change the property name so I could follow along.

I think maybe this tutorial needs to be updated for VS2010.

This was my first MVC project and I look forward to learning more.

I had the same problem as MikeASP, poster of the first comment. I tried adding the Exclude same as he. Then I used the solution that rlynch106 posted and it worked. Then I started to wonder about this strange Bind string: It dawned on me that those numbers were hexadecimal codes. (not sure about the underscores, so just ignored them.)

3d = =

22 = "

29 = )

bind28_exclude3a_3d_22_id22_29_ = Bind(Exclude:="Id")

It would be nice if this were updated for .net 4 and VS2010, but I survived and got it to work. Having to think about it and work out the differences isn't such a bad thing.
