In this webcast, we explore the new features of Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0
and focus on the details of Web server management and configuration. We start the
session with a look at the new configuration structure of IIS 7.0 and the metabase
system being replaced with the new XML configuration file hierarchy. Then we cover the
many tools and techniques available in IIS 7.0 for managing Web server configurations.
Learn how these tools enable you to configure and manage anything from a single Web site
to a large server farm. And finally, we describe the new modular concept included
in Microsoft ASP.NET. We discuss how and when to install modules, and we explain
how to extend IIS 7.0 using your own modules.
